Hand Planes
This is a collection of all of the **working** hand planes in the shop. I am working to get them up and running; once they are I will post them here.
Note: These hand planes are rough (if you are a beginner then you really can't tell based on how I set them up, so you can stop reading this). If you have used a lot of hand tools you'll notice their issues immediately, and you would be better off using your own. An apt power tool comparison would be a Ryobi retrofitted to use a Dewalt battery
Groz Hand Plane:
Description: This hand plane is a zombie of a bunch of different parts. It is the size of a Stanley #4.
Body: Indian Made, Possibly Groz Brand
Blade: Stanley, likely post 1970 make
Cap: Groz
Sharpening: Set up as a smoothing plane; bevel 30deg
Other Notes: This plane is a little backwards: to retract the blade rotate the adjustment knob clockwise, to advance the blade rotate counter-clockwise
