Jason posted on the mailing list, I hope you're just expressing something like "a little less talk and a lot more action". I'm on it. I intend to make several recommendations of architects capable of helping. People can post status updates for things they've done. Skm (talk) 12:44, 29 November 2016 (CST)
portable ramps
A long time ago I bookmarked a page on a portable wheelchair ramp design concept. The page is no longer up, but I emailed the designer to see if they were manufacturing it. The company that he worked with was planning on developing a prototype (email from 2012). I don't know if this on their current page is a result of it, http://www.feal.se/en/iramp-carbon/irc075.php or not. The designer also pointed me to https://www.ezaccess.com/by-category/portable-wheelchair-ramps I was thinking that having a ramp that could hang on the door while things are being worked on might be better than nothing, but honestly I don't know. I heard back from someone who uses a scooter. I asked if a portable ramp would be better than nothing and it seems so. You can get a relatively short, folding ramp on amazon for around $100. Longer is easier since the slope will be less. We would want info on our main page for people who plan to visit. We should have a sign, doorbell, intercom. We would need to teach people how to deploy it. Skm (talk) 14:28, 29 November 2016 (CST)

stair lifts
I don't know how feasible a lift would be. Derek mentioned the idea once along with having someone look for possibility of grants. Skm (talk) 12:48, 29 November 2016 (CST)

We had some discussion of this about a year and a half ago. https://wiki.pumpingstationone.org/Talk:Board_Policy_on_Animals Skm (talk) 13:11, 29 November 2016 (CST)
