I made some changes today based on two discussions I had yesterday. Tom said the current air lines are in bad shape. Old air lines are notorious for leaking as well, leading to higher energy costs. The new plan is to replace the air lines with a 1" distribution line, which should be adequate for the ~35 cfm compressor.

Andrew suggested a change in the dust collection plan. He would like to install new ducting in the new woodworking shop, then install the cyclone and machines. We will need redundant ducting for this, so the cost is now in the vote proposal. There is some left over ducting and fittings from the original installation, which can also be used. The old ducting can be used for expansion and a parallel system when we need additional dust collection capacity.

I also increased the budget for member shelving to be sure that is covered.

Unfortunately the vote announcement has already gone out and people have already begun voting, so you can't change the vote language at this point. Justin (talk) 17:01, 7 July 2016 (CDT)
